Physical Therapy

Have you ever wondered about what to do for that sore shoulder, low back ache, or knee pain, and other similar aches and pains? A consultation with a Physical Therapist may be particularly useful in helping to prevent serious injury. The goal of physical therapy is to promote mobility, normal functioning and maintain quality of life, enabling the older adult to continue to enjoy normal daily activities, including participating in beloved hobbies such as gardening, golf, tennis, and other sports. Our Physical Therapy consultant will help you to determine any need you may have for treatment or for referral to a specialist for your bone, joint, or muscle problems.

Dr. Ray Schaney , DSc,PT, ECS, has over thirty five years experience in the profession and has been associated with Erie Center on Health and Aging (now LifeWorks Erie) for over twenty years.

To schedule a Physical Therapy Consultation, Tuesdays from 9-11 (for a fee of $20), or for more information, contact Marie Heberlein at 459-4132 or via email at mheberlein@lifeworkserie.org.
