Health Screening

Staying healthy is, of course, extraordinarily important to our members. Detection of disease through routine screening, one of the ways to monitor overall health, is a service offered to our members.

The measurement of “vital signs” (status of life) including blood pressure, pulse, weight, and BMI in combination with other blood tests can be early flag raisers regarding the development of disease. These measurements and assessments indicate the body’s reaction to the normal and abnormal processes occurring in the body, or the likelihood of the incidence of disease. Periodic screenings are an essential component of preventative healthcare. Based on results, members are referred to their own physicians for follow-up. However, if they do not have a primary care physician, a referral list of physicians is provided.
